Justice For All

We want our government to facilitate access to justice for all Canadian citizens, by reinstating the Court Challenges Program and by increasing transfers to the Provinces for Legal Aid, which is the only way that the poor can seek justice through the courts.

DID YOU KNOW?
That  many changes in gender equality such as pregnancy discrimination, sexual harassment, trials for rape, divorce proceedings and settlements have been achieved through the Court Challenges Program.

That funding for this program was eliminated in September 2006.

That Provinces are tightening access to Legal Aid because they

need more financial assistance.
